Important events for the week beginning October 2, 2017

This week we are continuing to learn about the main idea and details in reading.  We are also learning about positional words. 

In phonics we are learning long vowels.

We are continuing to learn about the solar system in science.  We are looking at the moon and charting how it changes from night to night.

Homework:

***A moon calendar is being sent home with your student.  Please help your student track the moon for the month of October and sketch what it looks like in the correct box.  Completed calendars along with the questions are due on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.  Thank you!
