***Important Events for the Week Beginning October 16, 2017***

***Book Fair is on Wednesday, October 18th.

This week we are learning about character and setting.  We are also reading realistic fiction.
In math we will be having a test on Thursday on addition strategies.  In grammar we are learning about synonyms and predicates.  We are learning about the planets in science.

Homework:
                          Monday: Math
                          Tuesday:  Decodable reader (Please have your child read it 3x's, sign and return.)
                          Thursday:  Math test


Students will need 2 AR points for the month of October.   If they make their goal they will receive a coupon for a free personal pan pizza!
